OUTSOURCING OF CENTRE’S FACILITIES, IN LINE WITH THE BEST GLOBAL PRACTICE- HON. DR. BASHIR.

The Director-General, NCWD, Hon.Dr. Asabe Vilita Bashir has assured the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Women Affairs that outsourcing of the Centre’s facilities is in line with best global practice. She gave this assurance today at the Permanent Secretary’s conference hall in the Ministry of Women Affairs duringa courtesy visit. Briefing the PS, the Dg stated that outsourcing has remained the best management practice that enhances good return on investment for the government.
Enumerating the activities, mandate, vision and mission of the Centre, Dr. Bashir stated that lack of adequate budgetary provision has remained a problem in the face of centre’s mandate, and she appeal to the Permanent Secretary to use her good office to give the Centre, her pride of place in the lives of Nigerian women.
Commending the Director-General for the ongoing construction works, renovation of the facilities in the Centre and her sterling leadership, the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, Mrs.Monilola Udoh charged the Dg to key into the strategic roadmap and action plan (SRAP)2023-2027 as part of federal government reforms to reinvent the staff skills and the use of modern technology in digitalization and automation of staff records for ease of access. She further, stated that state offices throughout the federation should be reactivated for better business opportunities.
The highlight of the courtesy call was the group photograph with the PS, DG and management staff of the Ministry and the Centre.
